The library now has five Steelcase Mobile Power Units for fast and easy charging, wherever you are in the library.
Dana Medical Library’s Main Desk offers a plethora of peripherals for your devices. Various wattage Mac chargers are available for the MacBook 12”, MacBook Air 13” and MacBook Pro 13” and 16” (20 Watt, 60 Watt and 96 Watt respectively). Surface Pro power cables and styli are also available.
The UVM Libraries provides access to journal titles through a service called Article Galaxy. Dana Medical Library has made a handy step-by-step video on how to order full text articles through this service.
One of the cornerstones of evidence-based practice is asking a good clinical question, but it is a skill that takes practice to master. A popular method to use when developing a clinical question is the PICO search strategy. It’s an abbreviation used to describe the four elements of a well-formed, and therefore searchable, question.
The Dana Medical Library follows the same guidelines as the UVM Forward posts found on Face Coverings Guidelines page. Their “guidance was developed in accordance with guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Vermont Department of Health (VDH), and the Vermont Occupational Safety and Health Administration (VOSHA)”.
