As part of UVM Libraries' semester-long trial of Constellate, the text-analysis platform from ITHAKA (the creators of JSTOR and Portico), UVM faculty, staff, and students are eligible to participate in Constellate's Skill-Build 2024.
UVM Libraries' Silver Special Collections is honored to accept the donation of retired U.S. Senator and current UVM President's Distinguished Fellow Patrick Leahy's personal Senate papers. As the article mentions, over the next several years, a team of congressional papers archivists and student interns will work to catalog and organize the extensive collection.

Dana Health Sciences Library will remain on regular semester hours for medical students through Friday, June 16, 2023. Summer Hours began on Saturday, June 17 and run through Sunday, August 13. During this time the library will close at 8pm instead of 11pm Sunday thru Thursday. Friday and Saturday hours will remain the same for the summer.
Since its release to the public in November 2022, ChatGPT-3 has captured the attention of people around the world. Students, in particular, have been drawn to the chatbot, because of the way it seems to effortlessly generate answers to questions and assist with other coursework. As several people have noted, however, it’s not perfect. It can, and does, make mistakes that may be difficult to spot at first glance.
