Despite the library’s recent cancellation of large journal packages from publishers such as Elsevier, we are now able to provide UVM students, faculty and medical staff with the most recent articles from Elsevier and other publishers. 

In addition to the articles we license and make available online, UVM Libraries’ are providing access to numerous journal articles through a new service called Article Galaxy Scholar. Check out Dana Medical Library’s handy step-by-step video on how to order full text articles through this service.

What is Article Galaxy? It is a service that is integrated into the Libraries’ existing discovery tools such as CATQuest and the Find it @ UVM feature that is embedded in many research databases. Articles that we do not currently license can be requested 24/7, with the library paying for the article behind the scenes. Each article is delivered by email within a day, even on evenings and weekends.
