Consultants are available to help with GIS project design, the selection of appropriate datasets, and the selection and use of geoprocessing tools, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and Google Earth Engine.

Researchers requiring time to discuss the GIS needs of their project can fill out the Request GIS Support form to set up an appointment with us. Please contact your TA first if you are taking an ArcGIS class.

Statistical Consulting
Statistical Software Support and Consulting Services are available to students, postdocs, and researchers at UVM. Topics include data management, experimental design, interpretation of results of analyses, and installation/licensing of statistical software packages.
Drop-in assistance

During the Fall and Spring sessions of the academic year, stop by the Dana Main Conference Room (room 105) on Thursdays from 2 - 4 pm or the Howe Library Statistics Office (room 115) on Wednesdays 10:30 am - 12:30 pm with your statistics questions.
For Summer 2024, there will be no walk-in hours on 6/24, 6/25, 7/17, 7/18, 7/24, or 7/25.
Researchers requiring more time or a different time to discuss the statistical analysis needs of their project can seek an appointment for a virtual or in-person consultation.
During the Fall and Spring sessions of the academic year we host monthly Random Chats About Statistics. These workshops are held at either Dana Library or Howe Library and provide open dialogue and assistance on a variety of topics
