Exhibits are created by a team of library faculty and staff. The focus of the exhibits is on medical and health topics, with particular emphasis on the University and State of Vermont. In addition, the Dana Health Sciences Library occasionally hosts the National Library of Medicine's traveling exhibits, and creates an accompanying display of local materials on the topic at hand. Exhibits in the Dana Health Sciences Library rotate every one to four months.
